New Mills Scotland Limited is an entrepreneurial private equity firm, run by an operator rather than a fund manager. Its founder, Scott MacDonald, spent twenty years delivering transformation and turnaround work at C-suite level for some of the largest businesses in the UK and internationally. He now buys for his own portfolio, bringing that discipline to companies at SME scale, where it is rarely available.
